The Summer Scholars Program doesn’t just take place within the four walls of the classroom; there is plenty to do in the surrounding area and we firmly believe learning to be friends outside the classroom aids our pursuit of truth within it. While studying with us students participate in field trips a variety of places. In recent years we have spent time in and around both Philadelphia and New York.
All trips are included in the price of Summer Scholars, but students are encouraged to bring a modest amount of cash should they wish to buy souvenirs or experience more of the local cuisine.
At Summer Scholars we take rest seriously. We do our best to make sure students have time to relax and decompress throughout the week. This can take different forms, whether it be time to play soccer or swim, or a trip to the beautiful Longwood Gardens (left). Being able to focus on a pursuit beyond reading and discussion allows our students to reflect on the beauty of God all around us.
